Dragonwell Green Tea

Dragonwell, also known as Longjing, is a highly regarded green tea from China's Zhejiang Province. The leaves are pan-fired to preserve freshness and green color, giving them a flat, smooth, sword-like shape. It has a delicate, sweet, and chestnut-like flavor with a hint of grassiness and a fresh, floral, and nutty aroma. Dragonwell is rich in antioxidants and polyphenols, which may contribute to improved metabolism, heart health, and overall well-being. It has a long history and cultural significance in China, often presented as a gift to dignitaries.

Dragonwell tea has a delicate, sweet flavor with a hint of chestnut and grassiness. The tea liquor is bright yellow-green.

Dragonwell tea is best brewed with water at a temperature between 175-185°F (80-85°C) in a glass or porcelain teapot to appreciate the visual aspect of the leaves unfurling during brewing.
